AI Training & Web Crawling Policy

Permission to Crawl

We explicitly permit AI companies, researchers, and developers to:

• Crawl and index our website content
• Use our content for training large language models (LLMs)
• Include our content in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
• Use our content for research and development purposes

Attribution Requirements

When using our content, we request (but do not legally require beyond CC BY 4.0 terms):

• Attribution to "AI Read Score" when citing our content
• A link back to the original source when technically feasible
• Indication if the content has been modified or adapted

robots.txt Policy

Our robots.txt file is configured to allow crawling by:

• Search engine bots (Google, Bing, etc.)
• AI training crawlers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, etc.)
• Research and academic crawlers
• Ethical web scrapers

Crawl Rate Considerations

We ask that automated crawlers:

• Respect standard crawl-delay directives
• Identify themselves with accurate User-Agent strings
• Limit request rates to reasonable levels (max 1 request per second recommended)
